About Us

Thrive Youth CIC is a social enterprise that supports young people especially those facing employment challenges, care-experienced backgrounds or youth offending to reach their full potential.

Our core work involves delivering a blend of services including life-skills workshops (covering things like problem-solving, decision-making and interviewing), one-to-one mentoring, career guidance and tailored support for young people leaving care or involved in youth offending. We run sports sessions in collaboration with some of the best coaches and sporting teams to keep the youth active and help them to build life skills.

We emphasise building positive relationships, recognising each young person’s starting point and designing personalised pathways with partner organisations so young people can transition into employment, education or training.

In summary, Thrive Youth CIC is about empowering vulnerable youth with the tools, guidance and support to overcome barriers and shape a more positive future.

TESTIMONIALS

  • Sana Sheikh
I have been working under Caroline as a Teaching Assistant and I have learnt so much from her in just a couple of days. She is very patient, understanding and a good listener. She always likes to see things from other people’s point of view before offering any feedback and doesn’t rush to conclusions/advice to problems before getting a whole picture of the problem. She is a pleasure to work with and I have faith that she will stand up to and achieve all her endeavours with Thrive.

“Our Year 7 students were able to meet with Caroline, the director of Thrive Youth who took part in our careers networking event. Caroline shared her career journey and experiences with our students, who were able to learn valuable lessons in what it takes to forge a successful career and the exciting and rewarding jobs available. Caroline was a fantastic role model and has made a positive impact on our students, motivating them to look towards the future and all wonderful opportunities.”
